This undiscovered French countryside has a rich prehistory and history, including Celts, Hannibal with his elephants, Greeks, Romans, Visigoths, Moors, and Franks. Languedoc is also world famous for it's wines which have been produced in the area for more than 2000 years.

SATURDAY - ARRIVAL
Welcome party poolside (Enjoy the fines wines of the Languedoc Region along with the cheeses, pates, and different types of olives, A french feast awaits you!
SUNDAY - DAY 1
Valras Plage - A peaceful morning at the Mediterrean sea! This is what the South of France is all about. Imagine an amazing lunch seaside and then sightseeing and exploring the coast.
Pezenas- The village of our villa is small quaint and worthy of notice. We shall visit a cafe for afternoon pick me up. Dinner will be at an amazing local Chateau in the French counrtyside.
MONDAY - DAY 2
French Cooking Class - Celebrity Chef Anne De Ravel will arrive at the villa to start the day out with a visit to Bedarieux's farmers market and tour the Hauts Cantons. Following lunch, we head back to Nissan with stops along the way in the Faugeres wine district. Hands-on cooking class while we prepare the evening meal.
TUESDAY - DAY 3
Montpellier - This wonderful place is referred to as the GEM of the South. We will spend the day sight seeing and exploring the medieval architectur, statues, cafes and boutiques. A stop at the Arc de Triomph. You will have a full day filled with sightseeing and shopping! Dinner will be a culinary treat at Le Jardin des Sens (World Famous Chefs .....).
WEDNESDAY - DAY 4
FRENCH COOKING CLASS -We begin with a leisurely stroll through Narbonne and shop at the bustling halles, the indoor market in centre ville. After lunch near Narbonne where we'll have the opportunity to sample the wines from the La Clape region, we'll return to Nissan for an informal evening cooking class conducted by a local chef/owner of a nearby restaurant. Dinner will include a comparative tasting of the wines of St. Chinian and Berlou. You will get a first hand experience of what it like when French women cook!
THURSDAY - DAY 5
Carcassonne and Minerve - Perched on steep hilltops we will visit the legacy of the darkest days of the Middle Ages and religious wars. We begin with a leisurely stroll through Frances finest medival Castle Carcassone. We will explore these amazing fortresses and stop for lunch at a winemakers house. Today is a day for pictures and unforgettable memories!
FRIDAY - DAY 6
Beziers - An amazing place to see some of the prettier views in France We will visit the ancient bridge and hilltop cathedral of Saint Nazaire. As we stroll along the cafe-lined Allees Paul Riquet, we will enjoy some time at a quiant cafe on the tree-lined alley as we marvel at the beauty of this 12 century village.
Midi Cruise - Built in the 17th Century by Louis XIV, the Midi Canal was the commercial link between the Mediterranean and Toulouse. Imagine sipping wine as we cruise through ancient plane trees and view the vineyards and landscaping of the French countryside. We will find the perfect shade tree to enjoy a gourmet picnic and savor the beauty of France. A candle lit dinner will be prepared by a gourmet chef at the villa.
