Stay in a private villa near Orvieto and bicycle through Tuscany, Umbria and the Italian countryside. Visit: Orvieto, Todi, Civita, Torre Alfina, Castel Viscardo, Perugia, Assisi, and Siena. Or you can customize your trip to have the cities of your choice!
Price Per Person $2600.00 ALL INCLUSIVE including your bicycle rental for the week! (Double occupancy)
Your week will look like this:
SUNDAY - ARRIVAL in Rome where your driver will greet you and bring you to Podere Fibbiano (an 800 year old villa where you will be staying for the week)
Welcome party poolside (Enjoy the fines wines of Umbria along with the percorino cheeses, meats, different types of olives, bruschettas and fresh pasta).
MONDAY - DAY 1 - Pick out your bicycle and be prepared for an easy to moderate ride through:
CASTEL VISCARDO - A midieval hilltop town with a castle that is still occupied by the Duchess. Come watch the routine of the locals as they go through town stopping at all the stores visiting and buying their fresh fruit, meat and bread for the day.. A stop in the Panifico for fresh bread is a must! We will visit Nadia at her pizzeria and get lunch to go as the park and the views of the Castle await us!
TORRE ALFINA - You just can’t be in Italy without eating the Gelato! This Gelateria is a hidden secret, but famous among the locals. A walk around the small mid evil village will work off the calories of the Gelato! We must see the unique castle that is still occupied by a local family.
AQUAPENDENTE- Famous for its fabulous cathedral, Etruscan ruins and Orvieto Classico wine. We will dine under the Umbrian Stars at a small Trattoria in Orvieto when you have finished afternoon of sightseeing and shopping.

WEDNESDAY - DAY 3
SAN CASCIANO IN TUSCANY This is those who would rather relax in the Roman baths of Fountain Verde. Spa treatments and the medicinal sulfur waterthat has been healing for decades.
WEDNESDAY - DAY 3
Wednesday is Wine Day! We will visit 4 different winerys to learn about the many different grapes and wines of Umbria. A visit to Castello Della Sala to see the medieval wine cellar is a highlight of the day. Next, back to the villa for an Italian cooking class! Dinner will be prepared by you and Velia De Angelis of VCS International Cooking School.
THURSDAY - DAY 4
ROME - A full day filled with sightseeing and shopping! You can choose the Vatican tour or the Main sights of Rome tour. Dinner will be at a wonderful Roman restaurant in the historic center.

DERUTA, PERUGIA AND ASSISI -This is for those who would rather shop for ceramics (you can even watch the artists as they paint). In Assisi we will visit the Cathedral of St. Francesco. Dinner will be in Perugia at a very special restuarant.
FRIDAY - DAY 5
CIVITA -A must see medieval village isolated on a cliff. Civita is dessert for your eyes and a small workout for your feet because you must walk across a bridge to seethe beautiful village and the views that await you. A stop at the local olive press will be a special memory. We will have amazing lunch at the Hosteria Del Ponte before returning to the villa.
ORVIETO Last minute shoppingand sight seeing.
Farewell dinner will be at the villa, prepared by a local Italian chef. (Just imagine 4 courses of authentic, fresh Italian food with wine, cheese and fruit. La Vita Dolce!
