Having owned my villa in Italy since 2003, I have learned the real back roads of Italy. I have discovered hidden treasures that are impossible for tourists to find and have learned many secrets of the area. I have learned to speak Italian and have acquired a wonderful list of unique places to visit, from private vineyards to restaurants where the locals dine.

In years past, I have watched tourists come to Italy and spend the majority of their time running around trying to get to as many destinations as possible. Sadly, they don't even know what they are missing,  because they are in such a hurry to see the next place. They truly miss out on experiencing the real Italy.
